Digital audio matrices
Get the very best from your installation.
Ami is a range of digital audio matrices designed for installers who refuse to choose between power and simplicity.
From the compact 4×4 to the 16×16 with Dante, every model packs a high-precision DSP, professional connectivity and a complete control ecosystem, so that every installation, whatever its size, reaches its full sonic potential.

For installers
Behind the apparent simplicity of the Ami matrices lies power engineered for the most demanding installers.
High-precision DSP, comprehensive configuration software, multiple communication protocols and fine-grained user-rights management: every aspect of the range has been designed to give you total control over your installations, from commissioning to day-to-day operation.
The ADI SHARC 21489 processor built into every Ami matrix delivers signal processing of remarkable precision and speed. On the 16×16 models, two processors work in tandem to absorb the most complex configurations without ever faltering.
Total freedom
The AmiControl software goes beyond matrix control: it becomes the tool you use to design the user experience of your installation.
From the Windows interface, you define exactly what each user has access to — which zones, which sources, which levels.
AmiControl gives access to every parameter of the matrix through a clear, structured Windows interface. The 16 exportable presets let you duplicate a configuration from one site to another in seconds.
User-rights management ensures that each person only accesses what you have chosen to entrust to them.
Android · iOS
For Android and iOS devices, you build the control interface visually: faders, buttons, source selectors, all within a graphic environment you choose.
What your end client sees and touches is entirely up to you.
Integration
Ami matrices fit naturally into the most complex environments thanks to their support for the RS232, RS485 and UDP protocols.
The 8×8 and 16×16 models also provide 8 GPIO, configurable as inputs or outputs, to interact with third-party equipment.
The Dante versions add the industry-standard audio network layer, for total integration into modern AV infrastructures.

DSP
Ami matrices don’t just route the signal — they shape it.
At the input
Every input has a fully configurable DSP, enabled on demand according to the actual needs of the installation. Everything a source needs, exactly where it needs it.
To manage priorities between sources.
To wipe out noise between sentences.
To cut background noise dead.
To keep dynamics under control.
Automatic gain compensation.
To stay audible as the room fills up.
To keep every speech safe from feedback.
8 / 12 / 16 bandsTo sculpt each source with precision.
5 / 8 / 12 bandsTo sculpt each source with precision.
10 / 15 / 31 bandsFor the most complex installations.
up to 408 mAt the output
On the output side, Ami matrices offer equally complete processing to refine playback in every zone. Each zone can be calibrated independently, with a precision that makes the difference between an installation that works and an installation that impresses.
To match each output to its speakers.
For system alignment.
up to 408 mTo protect amplifiers and speakers.
So that sound sources add up instead of cancelling out.
The ecosystem
Network controllers, Dante interfaces or Wi-Fi via the app: Ami matrices offer a wide array of solutions with one goal in mind — adapting to your needs and to your clients’, thanks to total creative freedom.
Wall controller
H11878 (white) — H11891 (black)
The choice of simplicity and efficiency. Six fully programmable buttons and a rotary control for direct access to the matrix’s essential functions, with nothing superfluous.
Wall controller
H11879 (white) — H11892 (black)
The choice of maximum flexibility. A clickable rotary encoder and an OLED display to navigate up to 32 fully customizable menus, protected by two separate passwords.
Dante wall interface
H11881 (white) — H11893 (black)
A Dante wall unit for wireless audio playback. The AmiD2 receives the Bluetooth or stereo RCA signal and feeds it straight into the installation’s Dante network, over a single PoE network cable.
Dante wall interface
H11880
The AmiD4 features two balanced combo inputs with adjustable gain and 48 V phantom power, to connect microphones and line sources directly to the Dante network. In parallel, its two balanced XLR outputs can feed a local audio system from the same unit.
Full potential with
Ami matrices are fully compatible with the Nexus range of wall-mounted tablets. Simply install the AmiControl app on the Nexus tablet of your choice to get a tailor-made wall control interface, perfectly integrated into the installation.
The AmiControl app is available free on Android and iOS, for control from any smartphone or tablet.

Comparison and key differences.
Choose the analog version when the sources and amplifiers are grouped in the same equipment room. Wiring is direct, installation is straightforward and the matrix is enough to manage the whole system.
It is the simplest and most cost-effective choice when everything sits in one place.
Choose the D version when the installation is spread across the building. Audio streams travel over the Ethernet network, which avoids running long analog audio lines and makes it easier to add new sources or amplifiers.
Dante is not limited to distributed installations: within a single rack it also links compatible DSPs, consoles and amplifiers without analog conversion, reduces cabling and leaves room for the system to grow later.
The D version keeps the analog inputs and outputs while adding Dante channels, all freely routable to one another. An Ami08D therefore provides 8 analog inputs, 8 analog outputs, 8 Dante input channels and 8 Dante output channels. It also allows the AmiD2 and AmiD4 wall boxes to be connected, to add audio sources closer to the users.
