AMP H Series — Audiophony PA 100 V line amplifiers

One power rating. One number of zones. Everything else stays the same.

Seven amplifiers built on the same principle: 150, 300 or 500 W, on a 70 or 100 V line, with one, four or eight channels. The wiring is identical from one model to the next — an installer who knows one knows them all.

Three formats

One channel, four, or eight. Same rack unit.

The only choice is how many zones to feed. Class D, the 1U format, line selection and Euroblock connectors are shared across the whole range.

Three power ratings

Choose the power. The wiring stays the same.

Power is rated per channel, on 70 V as on 100 V. On the four-channel models it is given with two channels active; with all four channels loaded, each output delivers 135, 270 or 400 W.

Connections

Everything is wired at the rear. Once.

Inputs and outputs on pluggable Euroblock terminals, line selection by switch, and on the four-channel models a second output terminal per channel to daisy-chain a second speaker line without splicing.

PriorityOn the four-channel models: TEST input switched by the PRI contact, 5 V FAIL output for a fault indicator, DIS contact to mute the amplifier.
Cabling

How far does the line go?

Maximum length of a 100 V line depending on amplifier power and cable cross-section, without degrading the signal. Never use shielded cable to carry the power signal.

The total power of the speakers connected to an output must not exceed the amplifier's power.

Optional on the 4-channel models

Dante, when the network replaces the cable.

The AMP-DANTE4 card fits inside the AMP150.4H, 300.4H and 500.4H. The four channels then receive their sources over the installation network, with no audio line to run to the rack. Routing is handled in Dante Controller.
