Four zones, balanced power.
The AMP300.4H targets multi-zone installations where each line needs intermediate power, between the headroom of the 500 W and the compactness of the 150 W: retail, restaurants, office buildings with several spaces. Four independent channels each deliver up to 300 W on a 70 V or 100 V line, with an independent voltage selector per channel at the rear and a per-channel volume control on the front panel.
Priority and supervision built in.
Beyond amplification, the AMP300.4H carries control logic designed for day-to-day operation: a priority TEST input, triggered by a dry contact on the PRI terminal, instantly switches an announcement across every zone. The FAIL (5 V fault output) and DIS (disable) contacts report the amplifier’s state to an external supervision system, useful wherever a failure has to be detected remotely.
Measurable sound quality.
THD+N below 0.1 % keeps the signal faithful even at full output, with no audible colouration on speech or on music. A signal-to-noise ratio above 95 dB lets silence stay silent between two announcements. A damping factor above 200 keeps the driver under control for a well-defined result, including at the far end of a 100 V line.
Ready for Dante.
The AMP300.4H accepts the optional AMP-DANTE4 card, which moves all four channels onto the Dante audio network through two redundant RJ45 ports. An analogue amplifier today, ready for a networked installation tomorrow, without replacing the hardware.
Connections and integration.
One Euroblock connector on the input and two on the output of each channel (wired in parallel), in the same format as the rest of the AMP H Series. Short-circuit, open-circuit, thermal, limiter, ultrasonic and radio-frequency protection as standard. Variable-speed fan cooling, 62.5 dB at 1 m, AC 220 – 240 V power supply.
The AMP300.4H is part of the Audiophony PA AMP H Series, available with 1, 4 or 8 channels, from 150 to 500 W per channel.
